If a million Americans wanted to take action to reform the food system, what would you tell them to do?

Invest in local food systems!

Rebuild the economy from the ground up... starting with food. We envision 1 million people in the next decade investing 1% of their money in local food, in farms and food enterprises where we can see and touch and taste the results of our money at work. Join us! www.slowmoney.org

Local food is the future we need now. Supporting Slowmoney makes sense to me. Add your local garden and frequent a nearby farmers' market. Unnatural "processed" food is killing us. The antidote is fresh fruits and vegetables.

Slow Money has the potential to create rapid positive social change in our food system. Be sure not to miss the third national gathering which will take place @ Fort Mason in San Francisco, CA from October 12th-14th, 2011.

This is incredibly important issue and the plan is a practical way to make change.
